Retouching using Photoshop + Lightroom + Wacom intuos4 experience
Mouse Over (Before & After)
If you want a short answer: YEEES go buy one what are you waiting for? is it better than retouching with a mouse? Hell yes, it feels so natural, and pressing the pen to retouch instead of clicking is very smooth technique. Specially if you have a 1000 blemish to remove individually. Ok just before you continue reading this is not a tutorial for retouching, this is only me saying why using Wacom and how does it feel. You probably heard about the nib wearing off very fast, well it does. one photo to retouch and I am already noticing the shape of the pin nib already changed. How to travel with professional photography equipment?
1- Book a flight with good allowed luggage weight, In Bahrain I choose Gulf Air, so we (my assistant and I) gets 60KG + 12 KG onboard. Gulf Air Baggage allowance information: http://www.gulfair.com/English/info/Baggage/Pages/Baggage_Allowances.aspx 2- Prepare a list containing all the equipment you are taking with you with their serial number. Before you travel arrive early at the airport and approach the customs office. You have to tell them that you are taking all of these equipment with you and getting back with them. They will ask you to open the bags so they can check the equipment. They will issue a temporary export certificate for you. So whenever you are back to the country you just show them the certificate and all good. 3- You have to buy good equipment bags, I choose Pelican with foam inserts. ReplyDeleteHDR is sort of like cheating.. i used to use HDR when i first got my SLR, but i dont use it anymore, the photos look too cartoony. how about you show us some of your regular photos and then we can judge if theyre good or not
ReplyDeletesome people think that only film photography is real photography and everybody using digital is mature
ReplyDeletesome people think HDR is cheating and others think its Art
there's a huge demand for HDR. All the pro software that's come out lately support HDR photography and all new pro cameras support multi exposure now. there are hundreds of books and tutorial about HDR photography art
I advice you to let it go and dont think its cheating cause you are missing great opportunity in photography or as many people might call it Art
and about the original photos as you might call them look at my archive I have huge collection of original photos
